Users using Gmail on IE8 to be redirected to HTML-only view

Gmail Following the discontinuation of support for IE8 in November 2012 and as per the Google Apps browser support policy, we will soon start forwarding IE8 users to an HTML-only version of Gmail.

Rapid release IE8 users will be redirected to an HTML-only version of Gmail on May 7th; Scheduled release IE8 users will be redirected on May 26th.

To ensure you are getting the best experience, we encourage all customers to work on the latest supported browsers. If you do rely on an older version of Internet Explorer, we recommend a dual-browser strategy.
